China’s leaders were prepared to ’spill some blood’ ahead of Tiananmen massacre

China’s communist leaders premeditatedly prepared to “spill some blood” ahead of the June 1989 Tiananmen Square massacre of pro-democracy demonstrators. On the 21st anniversary of the events, security services today harassed grieving parents of victims, driving several mourners out of a cemetery.

Synchronized sentencing again hits Vietnamese and Chinese democracy activists

Vietnam follows China, harasses dissidents

Vietnam’s communist authorities are targeting the country’s democracy activists again, media agencies report. Democracy blogger Nguyen Tien Trung was arrested earlier this month, according to Reporters Without Borders.
